New Arizona State Manager

Region VII Director Ray Nichols has appointed Jim and Carol Warner, 110648, as State Managers for Arizona effective December, 2011. Jim served as Vice President and President of chapter 71 from 2009 – 2011Jim and Carol have been married for 50 years, being blessed with four daughters. Carol is from Seattle, WA and Jim is from Siam, OH.

Jim served in the US Navy for 20 years and then enjoyed 20 years with General Dynamics and Hughes Missile Systems retiring in 1997. He spent 6 years as a girl scout leader teaching outdoor survivor skills, 5 years as a reserve Deputy Sheriff in San Diego County, 5 years as an Arizona Ranger and 6 years as the president of the San Diego Touring Society (a motorcycle club) coordinating a charity event to raise money for the scholarship fund for dependents of fallen officers. Carol retired from Kelco a branch of MERCK pharmaceuticals where she worked as a mail room clerk and switchboard operator. She is an avid reader.

Jim and Carol have been camping since 1962, enjoying tenting, cab over campers, tow behind & 5th wheel trailers and finally a 2005 Holiday Rambler Admiral. They have also toured all of the lower 48 states, parts of Canada and Mexico pulling a tent trailer behind a motorcycle.
